WHISPERING NIGHT

As the night falls
And the clouds unveil the moon
I see everything in a shimmer
Like million little torches
Lit up in glee
I hear the wind
Whispering to the trees
And the owl that sits on the high branch
bids farewell to sleep
I lie there searching for the horizon
That has hid itself
In the arms of the night
And I realize that there is a world
That is too far out of sight
And every night
I see little children
Peeping from their blankets
That covers the bright blue sky
