When god made the rules
And everyone followed

Then he kicked me down
Like a vermin
He said I was greedy and uncouth
And the fiery pits
I shall rule
In the abyss
I created my world
Of beast and demons
And hounds of hell
Then the day came
When the apple gave man conscience
The very wisdom they chose
Taught them defiance
Since then I’ve been playing my part
For I conjured a
world of greed
Where man became a slave
Of his own need
And now I wait for the time
